چکیده
Deep hashing has shown promising performance in large-scale image retrieval. The process utilizes Neural Networks (DNNs) to embed images into compact continuous latent codes, then map them binary codes by function for efficient Recent approaches perform metric loss and quantization supervise the two procedures that cluster samples with same categories alleviate semantic information after binarization end-to-end training framework. However, we observe incompatible conflict optimal positions are not identical ideal hash because of different objectives terms, which lead severe ambiguity error-hashing process. To address problem, borrow Theory Minimum-Distance Bounds Binary Linear Codes design inflection point depends on bit length category numbers thereby propose Hashing-guided Hinge Function (HHF) explicitly enforce termination prevent negative pairs unlimited alienated. Such modification is proven effective essential training, contributes proper intra- inter-distances clusters better accurate retrieval simultaneously. Extensive experiments CIFAR-10, CIFAR-100, ImageNet, MS-COCO justify HHF consistently outperforms existing techniques robust flexible transplant other methods. Pairwise Relationship Guided Deep Hashing for Cross-Modal Retrieval
With benefits of low storage cost and fast query speed, crossmodal hashing has received considerable attention recently. However, almost all existing methods on cross-modal hashing cannot obtain powerful hash codes due to directly utilizing hand-crafted features or ignoring heterogeneous correlations across different modalities, which will greatly degrade the retrieval performance. In this pape...

Due to the storage and retrieval efficiency, hashing has been widely deployed to approximate nearest neighbor search for large-scale multimedia retrieval. Supervised hashing, which improves the quality of hash coding by exploiting the semantic similarity on data pairs, has received increasing attention recently. For most existing supervised hashing methods for image retrieval, an image is first...
متن کاملDeep Semantic-Preserving and Ranking-Based Hashing for Image Retrieval
Hashing techniques have been intensively investigated for large scale vision applications. Recent research has shown that leveraging supervised information can lead to high quality hashing. However, most existing supervised hashing methods only construct similarity-preserving hash codes. Observing that semantic structures carry complementary information, we propose the idea of cotraining for ha...
متن کاملSSDH: Semi-supervised Deep Hashing for Large Scale Image Retrieval
The hashing methods have been widely used for efficient similarity retrieval on large scale image datasets. The traditional hashing methods learn hash functions to generate binary codes from hand-crafted features, which achieve limited accuracy since the hand-crafted features cannot optimally represent the image content and preserve the semantic similarity. Recently, several deep hashing method...
متن کاملDiscriminative Deep Hashing for Scalable Face Image Retrieval
With the explosive growth of images containing faces, scalable face image retrieval has attracted increasing attention. Due to the amazing effectiveness, deep hashing has become a popular hashing method recently. In this work, we propose a new Discriminative Deep Hashing (DDH) network to learn discriminative and compact hash codes for large-scale face image retrieval. The proposed network incor...
